Here at Pro Paws we are fully qualified and insured and pride ourselves on providing fun, reward based training methods.
This modern way of training helps build a strong bond between you and your dog and helps develop a happy and confident pooch.
Our classes take place in a lovely large indoor riding school at Park Farm in Oakley, Basingstoke.
We believe it is important to train in a real life environments and having a large venue means you can get the most from the classes.
We have a number of different classes available and the whole family is welcome to join in the fun!
If you want a more personal service we also offer 1-2-1 training which can take place in the comfort of your home.

SERVICES
Puppy Classes
This is a 6 week course for puppies under 24 weeks old. During the course you and your puppy will learn the foundations needed to give you both a great start together. Exercises covered in this class include; basic cues, correct socialisation, recall, loose lead walking, and confidence building. We will also give advice on any common puppy problems you may be having.
1-2-1 Training
1-2-1 training is tailored to what you and your dog needs. This can be for a specific problem that you would like advise on, or for dogs that don’t cope well in a class environment. Whatever the problem we can help. 1-2-1’s can take place in your home or local park.

Junior Classes
This course is designed for young dogs who have completed my puppy class, or are over 6 months old. During the 6 weeks we will work on common problems such as; recall, loose lead walking, jumping up, stay, leave, and general manners. We will also work on some cool tricks.
Pre Puppy Consultation
Thinking about getting a puppy or just brought your new puppy home? This consultation will help you prepare for your new best friend! We will give you all the information you need to welcome your puppy home. This information includes how to start toilet training, crate training, mouthing, introducing basic cues, jumping up and much more!
Obediance
Working towards the IMDT Partnership Grades we help you and your dog achieve this high level of training. We break each exercise down and show you live demos with our own dogs of the high level you can work towards!
Scent Detection
We help your dog become a highly trained sniffer Dog! These training sessions are for dogs of all ages. Practicing Active & Passive Search exercises. We teach your dog how to find and indicate on a number of scents, and also how to find and retrieve a scented item! This is perfect for busy dogs who always have their nose to the floor.
Fun Agility
Our Agility classes are aimed at people wanting to have fun with their dog. You will be introduced to all of the equipment such as the A Frame, Jumps, Tunnels, Dog Walk and weaves. We aim to build your dogs confidence and teach them how to take the equipment safely.
Behaviour 1-2-1
Is your dog nervous, scared or aggressive? Have they shown signs of stress around other dogs, people, cars, bikes, or joggers? Maybe they are suffering with separation anxiety or resource guarding. In this 1-2-1 package we will fully assess your dog and get a training plan in place to help them overcome these issues. We are there to help you along the way and help you put this training into practice.

US
Hi my name is Jessica and I'm the Head Dog Trainer at Pro Paws Dog Training. I've had dogs all my life and from a young age I knew I wanted to work with them. I was introduced to the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) by a friend and fellow Dog Trainer and that's where my dog training obsession began!
I have been training dogs for over 10 year professionally and have trained with the IMDT, School of Canine Science, UK Sniffer Dogs, WSDA and many more organisations which has helped me gain a vast amount of knowledge. I also have an OCN Qualification in Principles of Dog Training and Behaviour, and have attended the following courses;
